Milestone 5: Lab complete
This is the fifth milestone checkpoint - well done!
This is the final milestone. Thank you for working through the lab — the instructor will close with a summary and take any final questions from the group.
What you have covered in this lab
✅ Section 1 — Explored a live, pre-configured fabric: the blueprint dashboard, topology view, rendered device configuration, and intent-driven anomaly model
✅ Section 2 — Expanded the data centre: added a new rack, created an Analytics VRF, and built two virtual networks using VXLAN — all without CLI access
✅ Section 3 — Connected the analytics service: added a server with redundant links, applied connectivity templates to attach it to both networks, and staged external BGP peering via a connectivity template
✅ Section 4 — Monitored and operated: explored IBA, reviewed live and historical anomalies, used the context-aware CLI from within the Apstra UI, and walked through the Time Voyager rollback workflow
✅ Section 5 — Data Centre Assurance: used correlated visibility to trace active flows through the fabric topology, and used AI-driven root cause analysis to identify an underlying issue from its symptoms
The bigger picture
Every section in this lab has illustrated the same underlying principle: the further you move from manually managing individual devices, the more time you have to focus on what matters.
Apstra shifts the work from implementation to intent. Data Centre Assurance shifts the work from investigation to resolution. Neither is a replacement for engineering expertise — but both remove the parts of the job that consume the most time without adding the most value.
Continuing after this session
Your access to the Data Centre Assurance demo environment remains active after this session ends. The sign-up you completed earlier is all you need — return to https://dc.ai.juniper.net at any time to continue exploring.
